Ida Carlshagen is the Executive Assistant to the Designated Managing Broker and Graphic Designer at Coldwell Banker San Juan Islands, Inc. In her role as the Head of Marketing, Social Media, and Graphic Design, she crafts compelling visual concepts to engage consumers while providing crucial administrative support to the entire team. In addition to her professional role, Ida has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since June 2022.
Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, Ida relocated to the United States at the age of four. She spent three formative years on San Juan Island from ages five to eight. Later, she completed the rest of her education in the San Fernando Valley, near Los Angeles, attending Los Angeles Pierce Community College. Possessing dual citizenship, Ida took advantage of the opportunity to explore her roots in Sweden for a year after high school. Fluent in English and Swedish, she also possesses proficiency in Spanish.
Returning to San Juan Island in August of 2018, Ida appreciates the unique pace of island life. She considers Friday Harbor one of the most beautiful, peaceful, small towns she has ever had the pleasure of living in. Ida envisions a lifetime spent here in Friday Harbor, Washington, and loves the strong sense of community that this island embodies.
